- Modular Presentations
Stand-alone, 90-120 minute sessions designed to be inserted into a longer program. Dr. Murdock provides a detailed, substantive outline that is distributed to each participant at the beginning of the session. He says, "I believe strongly that PowerPoint presentations are overused and suppress discussion." Instead he talks briefly (15-20 minutes) to the outline and, in the unlikely event that no one has made an intervention, asks someone to share their views on a particular point. Discussion dynamics drive the flow of the entire session, although Dr. Murdock will ensure that all of the topics covered in the outline, which are the participants' takeaways, are covered.
- Half-Day or Full-Day Events
These longer engagements begin with a session in which Dr. Murdock, in the manner described above, presents the Future Making approach to organizational change. He then serves as moderator and discussion facilitator as other notable experts, provided by Murdock Associates and tailored for each client, will present their perspectives. The event ends with a Murdock-led discussion of lessons learned from the contrasting perspectives offered by the speakers.
